Faith in Action Newsletter

A monthly Faith in Action Newsletter has been launched starting in September, 2019. This now is being circulated to all councils. “We hope you had a great start to the fraternal year and would like you to know that as the year advances, our Programs Team will work hard to provide you with all the necessary resources to effectively implement your programs. At this time our team would like to share with you Council Best Practices, a source that we feel will be extremely helpful in planning out a successful 2019-2020 fraternal year. As a reminder, if you have any questions that you would like to address regarding our programs, please contact us at

(From “Life Worth Living” prayers prepared by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington, D.C. in January 2018).

Heavenly Father, thank you for the precious gift of life. Help us to cherish and protect this gift, even in the midst of fear, pain, and suffering. Give us love for all people, regardless of their stage in life; as infants, toddlers, teenagers, adults and seniors, but especially the most vulnerable, and help us bear witness to the truth that every life is worth living. Grant us the humility to accept help when we are in need, and teach us to be merciful to all. Through our words and actions, may others encounter the outstretched hands of Your mercy. May we become worthy instruments of your love and mercy, we ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
